Scholarly Sisterhood
Congratulations UCI Alpha Phi for achieving #1 in overall Panhellenic GPA for 2007!
Our current average is above the All Sorority Average, the All Women's Average, the All Greek Average, and the All Undergraduate Average. Along with the high academic achievements of our members, our sisters also participate in many other on-campus groups, clubs, and honor societies.
Our Scholarship program strives to motivate and help members in their pursuit of academic excellence through weekly study hours at our house and on campus. We also make it a priority to pair up new members with older members of the same major so that they can give them study advice on classes they have taken before. Each quarter we hold a Scholarship Banquet where each sister invites a UCI professor for dinner at the Alpha Phi house to celebrate the academic excellence of our chapter. This also gives our members an opportunity to better get to know their professors as well as let the professors know how important academics are to Alpha Phi. We also use this event to praise those sisters who have achieved academic excellence with 4.0’s or Dean’s List and reward them with special gifts and awards.
